About

I’m Francine Broder and I feel so fortunate to do the work I do as a therapist. My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Temple University, and a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have had many wonderful learning opportunities along the way, including a predoctoral internship at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and a postdoctoral residency at Beck Institute. I have truly learned from the best of the best.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to write and co-author published articles, chair a committee within a national organization, and teach fellow clinicians through lecture, consultation, and supervision, both locally and internationally.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my career has been providing psychotherapy and counselling to people struggling with depression, anxiety and related disorders, and obesity and weight management. I believe in the efficacy of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and get immense pleasure from teaching clients how to be their own therapists. By doing so, I help people solve problems and feel better in the present as well as helping them develop the tools they need to manage difficulties in the future. My approach is collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental, providing a safe space for clients to focus on challenges and develop coping strategies to feel their best.

I would be honored to help you overcome difficulties, discover your strengths, and achieve your important goals. I am here to support you every step of the way, giving you space to heal, grow, and learn as we work together to create positive change in your life. I welcome you to reach out to me with questions, and I hope I can be a part of your journey.
