This six-week webinar series is appropriate for both those who have previously attended our weight management webinars, and those who are brand-new to a cognitive behavioral approach to weight loss and maintenance.
Kickstart your health and wellness goals this November with practical strategies borrowed from evidence-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy!
In this six week series, Beck Institute Weight Management Program Director Deborah Beck Busis, LCSW, will discuss how to deal with challenges to weight management, such as eating out, travel, weekends, and food pushers. She will explain the most common thinking traps that can derail healthy eating habits and how to overcome them. Ms. Busis will delve into topics such as cyclical motivation, how to cope with hard times, and how to incorporate the scale as a helpful (rather than harmful or sabotaging) tool for long-term maintenance.
Sessions for our fall series will be held every Monday from 12 – 1 PM, Eastern Time, on the following schedule:

Group Weight Management Coaching
Ten weeks of small group weight management coaching is available in tandem with the webinar series. This program provides extra support and camaraderie for individuals looking to make a change in their eating habits. These private coaching sessions are available only to webinar series participants, and will give participants exclusive one-on-one time with Deborah Beck Busis, LCSW and Francine Broder, PsyD.
After completing registration for the webinar series, you will receive an email with instructions on how to enroll in small group coaching.
The BI Weight Management Webinar Series is appropriate for anyone seeking to maintain a healthy weight. Zoom Client for Meetings is required to access the webinars, and there will be call-in options for those who cannot use this software.
