I am a counsellor, psychotherapist, and professor of counseling psychology. I am also a specialist in CBT.

Through deep and compassionate cooperation with my diverse range of clients, I connect with broken hearts and broken self-images, inspiring clients to embark on a journey of rediscovery, recovery, and redefinition.

I try to help my clients to understand that they, human beings, are the most precious forms of life in our universe.

As a therapist, I consider the person with me on the enjoyable journey of treatment, not just a case, but a person with a story, history, and present, and more specifically a future; I celebrate the presence of this person being themselves, embodying flesh, blood, feelings, thoughts, and pains, and I tailor a special treatment plan of their own, as unique a plan as their own uniqueness.

Certified Clinician
Malak Nasr Ghattas, PhD
Valid Through January 31, 2027

I employ various models of psychotherapy, but mainly CBT, for treating romantic relationships, couples therapy, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, family therapy, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem, anger, body-image, and positive psychology. In my opinion, every client is a unique case of humanity, in soul and spirit.

I encourage my clients to focus on the present moment towards the future, and their inner beauty.

I assist my clients through areas of gender-relationship awareness, ‘Psychology of Love’ and self-actualization, to help discover beauty in the broken, victory in the wounds, and meaning of life in a tragic life.

I try to share or contribute to transformation or change that deals with the passion of life and the realities within the hearts of others.
