How is our Cognitive Behavioral Wellness Coaching program different from other health coaching programs?

Beck Institute’s Wellness Coaching program is grounded in the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, an approach that has been demonstrated to be effective in over 2,000 research studies.

This program teaches people how to: 

  • Identify and address unhelpful thoughts that can get in the way of change
  • Build resilience and confidence through everyday choices
  • Follow a healthy diet and exercise program

Cognitive Behavioral Wellness Coaching helps clients make long-lasting changes in their daily habits in support of their overall health and wellness. It can also address non-clinical issues, like procrastination, organization, public speaking anxiety, relationship and career problems, among others.

This program is not appropriate for people who have been given a diagnosis of a mental health condition.
