Is CBT Treatment
Right for Me?
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) was developed by Beck Institute’s co-founder, Dr. Aaron T. Beck, in the 1960s and 1970s. It is a form of talk therapy that has been demonstrated in thousands of studies to be the most effective treatment for many common health and mental health conditions and quality of life concerns.
We provide clients with a supportive environment where they can learn skills to make small changes in how they think and what they do. Research shows that’s how people recover. Many of our clients find that they start to feel better after just a few sessions.
