About
I am a clinical psychologist from Malaysia, based in Singapore. In 2015, I founded Relate Malaysia – a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the provision of mental health services, education, training, and advocacy. As a clinician, I see clients based in Singapore and Malaysia. It’s my ambition to make mental health support accessible to all, and to improve the standard of mental health literacy. My research interests include motivation, eating disorders, and mental health interventions. In 2020, I was invited to be a visiting scholar at Harvard University’s School of Public Health, and have been involved in projects including estimating prevalence rates of eating disorders in Singapore and Malaysia, and disordered weight control behaviors.
