About
Matthew is the owner of Dynamic Minds Therapy and we believe that meaningful change begins with how we think. Rooted in the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), our practice helps individuals and families understand the powerful connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—and how to reshape that connection for a more empowered life.
Whether you’re a child struggling to manage big feelings, a teen facing academic or social pressures, or an adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life transitions, CBT offers practical, evidence-based tools to regain clarity and control. At Dynamic Minds Therapy, we specialize in using CBT as a framework to help clients reframe negative thinking patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies.
Our therapists are trained in a range of CBT-based approaches, including traditional CBT, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and CBT-informed play therapy for younger children. We tailor treatment plans to match developmental needs, cultural backgrounds, and personal goals—because we know that no two minds work the same way.
Many of our clients come to us feeling stuck—repeating old patterns, reacting in ways they wish they could change, or struggling with intrusive thoughts that affect daily functioning. CBT gives us a map to understand these cycles and break them down into manageable, actionable steps. It’s not just about insight—it’s about learning and practicing the skills that make life feel lighter.
We know that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why our approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based. We invite clients to be active participants in their therapy journey, co-creating goals that reflect their values and lived experiences. We also understand the importance of flexibility: we offer therapy in-office, via telehealth, or in community settings such as homes or schools—making therapy more accessible and responsive to daily realities.
At Dynamic Minds Therapy, CBT is more than a treatment method. It’s a philosophy of empowerment. We help our clients learn to challenge unhelpful thoughts, experiment with new behaviors, and track their growth—step by step.
If you’re ready to begin a journey of self-awareness and change, we’re here to support you. Reach out to schedule a consultation and take the first step toward thinking—and living—differently.
