About
The success of a psychologist depends in part on establishing a good rapport with clients. Therefore, the psychologist’s personality and communication skills are likely to be considered crucial for treating patients effectively. Kindness, open-mindedness, understanding, and good listening are qualities that I strive to have when treating my clients.
Having graduated with an MSc in psychology from the University of East London in the United Kingdom, I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in psychology with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focus.
Working as a senior psychologist for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health for eight years, I have extensive experience treating adolescents and adults with emotional and psychological problems. As I work with patients on their psychological evaluations and therapeutic sessions, I see how asking for help is the first and most difficult step they take. However, I also see how thoughts, emotions, and behavior change depending on the way we view life’s daily issues.
I provide individual psychotherapy using a cognitive-behavioral approach in many areas, including depression, anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, eating disorder, stress management and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
