About
I have been working as a counselor for the past five years, primarily using CBT approaches. I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and am currently pursuing my doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology at Hacettepe University. I currently work at a university counseling center, providing support to individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and insomnia. In addition to this, I also work with individuals without a clinical diagnosis to help them manage stress more effectively and cope with life’s challenges. I offer therapy sessions in both Turkish and English.
In my doctoral research, I focus on self-care practices for mental health professionals working in university settings, incorporating mindfulness-based techniques. I also take part in research projects centered on the use of CBT in suicide prevention.
