Dr. Alessandra “Aless” Arpon is a clinical and counseling psychologist specializing in workplace mental health, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders, and clinical governance. As a clinician, she provides individual counseling, psychotherapy, and coaching, integrating CBT and third-wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to support clients in developing healthy and helpful coping skills, resilience and sustainable well-being.

As the Head of Operations and Learning and Development at In Touch Community Services, Aless provides strategic oversight of clinical services, counselor training, and service quality, while spearheading initiatives to enhance evidence-based practices, crisis response, and professional development. She integrates CBT frameworks, implementation science, and healthcare management principles to improve mental health service delivery in community, workplace, and private practice settings.

In addition to her leadership role at In Touch, Aless serves as Chairperson of the Counseling Psychology Division of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP), where she advocates for the advancement of counseling psychology, ethical standards, and professional excellence in the field. She plays a pivotal role in the capacity-building of Filipino counseling practitioners.

With a strong background in clinical supervision, training, and program development, Aless has worked extensively with NGOs, corporate organizations, and educational institutions to promote mental health literacy, employee well-being, and crisis intervention. She has designed and facilitated workshops, clinical training programs, and workplace mental health interventions, ensuring accessibility and impact for diverse populations.

Aless holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology and an MS in Clinical Psychology from De La Salle University Manila, a Diploma in Workplace Learning and Development, and is currently pursuing a Global MBA at the University of Western Australia, focusing on healthcare management, clinical governance, and sustainable mental health systems.
