I am mental health expert working in United Arab of Emirate, under ministry of health and prevention, particularly in primary health care sector. I earned my master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from the university of Jordan, and I have been working with adolescents and young adults for the past 6 years.

With over 20 years of experience and a Master of Social Work degree, my therapeutic approach is informed by my belief that we are all humans riding on the struggle bus. Whether you’re the driver or a passenger, have a window seat or are sitting on the tire hub, to struggle is to be human. But the struggle can be lessened.

Tena koe. I am a New Zealand Psychology Board (NZPB) registered Psychologist, working in private practice supporting children, whanau (families), adolescents and adults. With a strong regard to Māori and Pasifika cultures, I named my practice ‘Te Arapiki’, which means ‘bridge’ in te reo Māori.
