I am a psychiatrist practicing in Bangalore, India. I completed a MBBS course from Kasturba medical college Mangalore and post graduate Diploma (DPM) and masters degree Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in psychiatry from National Institute (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, India. I am working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Psychiatry in Saptagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. I run a part time psychiatric clinic: Bhargava Mind Clinic. I am the founder and medical director of a rehabilitation center for women called Manasu. I have a clinical experience of more than 2 decades in psychiatry.
I have a special interest in psychotherapy. I have received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), intensive courses from Linehan Institute, USA and Cognitive Behavior Therapy from Beck institute. I am a Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician (BICBT-CC). My psychotherapy and clinical approach involves high skills and high quality human touch.
