About
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of the Center for Emotional Health’s FamilyCare Center. I received my Doctoral and Master’s Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and my Master of Science in Education in Psychological Services and school counselor certifications from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a Beck Institute Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinician (BICBT-CC), a distinguished achievement demonstrating my commitment to the evidence-based treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I am also trained in the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) Program, from the Yale Child Study Center. I offer parent-based treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related disorders.
I completed my Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, in the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center. Under the direct mentorship of Dr. Aaron T. Beck, I was the primary Fellow providing intensive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training and consultation to mental health treatment centers and schools. I have extensive expertise in evaluating the quality of CBT therapy sessions.
I also received my formative training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP), Center for Management of ADHD, Community Schools Programs, and Cardiology Departments. I am experienced in evaluating and treating ADHD and psychoeducational needs and supporting youth and families with medical complexities. Holding NJ and PA school counselor certifications, I have also worked intensively with children and families in elementary through high schools. I take pleasure in providing support to families who are navigating school-based interventions and accommodation plan development.
I offer individual and parent-based psychological treatment and evaluation, supervision, program development, school-based services, consultation, and community education. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults, with specialties in anxiety disorders, school-based challenges, coping with chronic medical conditions, and parenting. I hold licenses to practice psychology in:
New Jersey (lic. no. 35SI00582900), Pennsylvania (lic. no. PS017645), and holds the authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, Granted by the PSYPACT Commission in AZ, CO, DE, DC, GA, IL, MD, MO, NE, NV, NH, NC, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, AL, AR, KY, MN, OH, & WV (Pending legislation in IA, ME, NJ, RI, SC, VT).
